Tshwane Invites Soshanguve Residents to Key Public Participation Meeting

Residents of Soshanguve are being urged to take part in an important public participation session hosted by the City of Tshwane as part of its ongoing planning and budgeting process for the coming years.

The session, scheduled for Saturday, 18 April 2026 at 10:00, will be held at the KT Motubatse Community Hall. It forms part of Region 1’s engagement on key municipal frameworks, including the draft 2026/27 Integrated Development Plan (IDP), the 2026/27–2028/29 Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (MTREF), as well as the draft Property Rates Policy and By-law.

The City has emphasized that community input is vital in shaping service delivery priorities, infrastructure development, and budget allocations. These public participation sessions provide residents with a platform to raise concerns, suggest improvements, and directly influence decisions that affect their communities.

Spokesperson of Council, Mncedi Ndzwanana, is expected to be among the officials engaging with residents, outlining the City’s plans and responding to community feedback.

Residents are encouraged to attend in numbers and make their voices heard as the City works toward inclusive and responsive governance.
