Six people arrested in connection with the murder of an e-hailing driver are expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning.
22 -year -old Isaac Satlat was killed inside his vehicle in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, earlier this month.
Dikeledi Mphela, Goitsione Machidi, McClaren Mushwana, Tumishang Mabutla, Ofentse Senwamadi and Thabang Mothwa are alleged to have acted together with a common purpose to murder Satlat.
It is alleged that after disposing of Satlat’s body, the accused took his vehicle to Mothwa so that he could remove the tracking device.
The three newly -added accused, Mabutla, Senwamadi and Mothwa, were arrested on Monday last week after police investigations linked them to the incident.
Mabutla faces charges of premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
Senwamadi is charged with premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances as an accessory after the fact, while Mothwa faces a charge of robbery with aggravating circumstances as an accessory after the fact.
