The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has announced that learners who sat for the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams will soon be able to view their results online through a dedicated digital platform.
According to a recent official post on the department’s social media, Gauteng matriculants can access their 2025 NSC results by visiting the government results portal at https://results.gauteng.gov.za/ and entering their unique examination number once the results are released.
The official release date for the 2025 matric results has now been confirmed that Results will be made available to candidates on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, from midnight (00:00).
On results day, learners can check their individual outcomes on the Gauteng results website by entering their exam number a faster alternative to waiting for schools to distribute statements.
The release follows the conclusion of the NSC examination period, which ran from October to November 2025 with exams ending on 27 November 2025 nationwide.
