Malema’s Judgment Delayed as Court Meticulously Reviews Evidence

The verdict in Julius Malema’s firearm discharge case has been postponed. Magistrate Twanet Olivier spent the entire day reading a detailed review of all trial evidence, a process she deemed necessary before reaching a judgment. The case, concerning the alleged firing of a rifle at a 2018 rally, will now likely see its verdict delivered tomorrow, after Malema and his co-accused spent over six hours in the dock.
