Here’s what you’re likely to pay for fuel from Wednesday, based on unaudited Central Energy Fund data:
- Petrol: 95 Unleaded is set to rise by 3 cents per litre, while 93 Unleaded may decrease by 5 cents.
- Diesel: A more noticeable drop of 10 cents (500ppm) and 7 cents (50ppm) is expected.
- Illuminated Paraffin: Will decrease by 10 cents.
This would push the price of a litre of 95 Unleaded to around R21.58 in Gauteng. The modest adjustments are the result of a stronger rand, which provided a 14-cent cushion against rising international product prices. The official adjustment will be confirmed early this week.
