Media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock will be laid to rest in Johannesburg on Today following his tragic death last week.
DJ Warras, a well-known radio and television personality, podcaster, club DJ and entrepreneur, was shot and killed in the Johannesburg Central Business District on 16 December 2025. He was 40 years old.
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Sandton last week for his official memorial service, where family members, friends, colleagues and members of the public came together to honour his life and legacy. Tributes highlighted his passion for media, music and business, as well as his impact on South Africa’s entertainment industry.
Meanwhile Police have confirmed that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. The suspects are expected to be charged with murder and will make their first court appearance on Wednesday.
