At the sprawling headquarters of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC), over fifty couples from every corner of South Africa converged not just for a ceremony, but for a profound spiritual milestone—the church’s annual mass wedding, a vibrant tapestry where personal love stories were woven into the broader fabric of faith.
From the crack of dawn, the sacred grounds transformed into a kaleidoscope of emotion. Nervous grooms, resplendent in suits ranging from sharp contemporary cuts to traditional embroidered attire, adjusted their ties in the shade of jacaranda trees. Meanwhile, a separate hall buzzed with a symphony of joyful whispers as brides, assisted by mothers, sisters, and church matriarchs, put the final touches on their ensembles.
