Chirwa brings over two decades of senior leadership experience to her new role, having most recently served as Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Africa at Cipla Pharmaceuticals, where she was instrumental in driving organizational transformation and workforce development across multiple markets. Her career is distinguished by a track record of aligning people strategies with business objectives in complex, high-stakes environments.
In her new capacity, Chirwa will take charge of TransUnion’s comprehensive people strategy for the region, with a sharp focus on talent acquisition and development, organizational capability building, and the cultivation of an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture. The company has emphasized that her expertise will be pivotal in supporting its ongoing expansion across African markets, as well as its Global Capability Centre, which serves as a hub for innovation and operational excellence.
