In a shocking act of violence that has shattered the perceived sanctuary of a school, the principal of Inxiweni Primary School and an administration clerk were shot and killed inside the school’s admin block in the Enxiweni section of Tembisa. The incident, which occurred during school hours, has sent waves of terror and grief through the tight-knit community.
A Targeted Attack in a Place of Learning
According to preliminary reports from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) and the South African Police Service (SAPS), two unidentified gunmen gained access to the school premises.
