SABC1 has announced changes to its weekday primetime schedule, with Uzalo and Generations: The Legacy moving to new timeslots from Monday, 27 July.
Under the revised schedule, Uzalo will now air at 8:00 pm, 30 minutes earlier than its previous 8:30 pm slot, while Generations: The Legacy will move to 8:30 pm.
Announcing the changes on social media, SABC1 said: “Kusinwa kudedelwane — when we dance, we take turns. From Monday 27 July, your weeknight drama moves to a new rhythm. Same shows. Same home. Back to back — don’t touch that remote.”
Uzalo also confirmed its earlier broadcast time, telling viewers: “Consider this your official calendar update. Cancel whatever you had planned for 8 PM. Uzalo is moving from 8:30 PM to 8 PM starting Monday, 27 July on SABC1. Don’t be late!”
While Skeem Saam will continue to air at 7:30 pm, SABC1 has teased that viewers can expect something extra when the refreshed lineup comes into effect on 27 July, encouraging audiences to tune in for the new primetime schedule.
