The stage is set for a massive South African football showdown as Orlando Pirates prepare to take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 final.
The two giants will meet on Saturday, 10 October at 18:00 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, with the trophy up for grabs.
Ezikamagebula head into the final as the defending champions, having won the MTN8 for the past four seasons. They beat Stellenbosch 3-0 in last year’s final to claim a historic fourth consecutive title.
Sundowns, meanwhile, will be hoping to bring the trophy back home. Their last MTN8 triumph came in 2021, when they lifted the title after beating Cape Town City.
With two of the biggest names in South African football going head-to-head, fans can expect a high-intensity battle from the first whistle.
