Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong is today officially handing over a newly digitised broadcast studio to Pheli FM in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, Gauteng.
The handover forms part of government’s efforts to support community media and strengthen access to modern broadcasting technology. The newly digitised studio is expected to improve Pheli FM’s broadcasting capabilities and enhance the quality of its services to the Atteridgeville community.
The milestone highlights the role of community radio in keeping communities informed, connected and engaged, while also supporting the transformation of South Africa’s media landscape.
