Banyana Banyana will face tournament hosts Morocco in a highly anticipated 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) semi-final on Saturday, 8 August, in Rabat.
South Africa booked their place in the last four after another impressive performance in the tournament beating Burkina Faso and will now take on a Moroccan side backed by passionate home support at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium.
The match is expected to be one of the biggest encounters of the competition, with both nations aiming to secure a place in the WAFCON final. South Africa will be looking to continue their title defence, while Morocco will be hoping to reach the final on home soil.
Kick-off is scheduled for 22:00 South African time, with the match set to be broadcast live on SABC 2/3.
