Residents in parts of Mabopane are being urged to prepare for a major water supply interruption on Tuesday, 13 October, as the City of Tshwane carries out essential infrastructure work that will leave some households without water for up to 10 hours.
The planned interruption will affect customers in the Mabopane Main Reservoir supply zone, with Winterveldt Extensions 3 and 5 specifically expected to be affected.
According to the City of Tshwane, technical teams will connect the main feeder pipeline to the newly constructed Klippan Reservoir. The work is scheduled to take place from 8am until 6pm.
Residents are being urged to store enough water for their essential needs and plan ahead to avoid unnecessary inconvenience during the shutdown.
