The High Court has sentenced Armindo Pacula to 25 years’ imprisonment after he entered into a plea and sentence agreement with the State, admitting that he killed popular broadcaster and businessman Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock in exchange for payment.
DJ Warras was murdered on 16 December 2025 outside the Zambesi Building in Johannesburg’s CBD. He was shot dead in what investigators described as a targeted attack while inspecting a property.
According to the plea agreement, Pacula confessed to carrying out the killing for payment, leading to his conviction and 25-year prison sentence. The case against the alleged mastermind is continuing separately through the courts.
